If his hand with the brush is shown at the level of the canvas, it seems to me that his hand will obscure the landscapes.

I already have combat animations implemented in PixiJS, so no coding is required. I need help specifically with graphic VFX assets: improving existing sprites or suggesting a new effect with new animation frames.
