In your case, the key is not just to "make Shopify," but to immediately set up the store so that it passes the Google Merchant verification without the risk of being banned for Misrepresentation. I work with e-commerce and understand well the reasons why Merchant Center often blocks accounts: lack of transparent contacts, discrepancies in policies, incomplete information about shipping/returns, content mismatch with the site's feed. My approach: first, I select a clean theme, build the structure (Home, Collections, Product, Cart), immediately add all mandatory policies and align them with each other, then I fill in 10 products with the correct names, descriptions, and attributes for GMC. Next, I set up Merchant Center: verify/claim the domain, shipping/returns, feed through Google feed, check all warnings, and bring the status to "Approved."
