Автопарк не сильно большой, пока экселя вроде достаточно, когда данных будет много программу думаю можно и написать или мб перейти на MS Access. А как Вы это видите?

Вижу в написании программу сразу под нормальную БД. По цене, зависит от функционала. Да, возможно это будет не так дешево как скрипты, но вы решаете сразу кучу проблем в будущем. У вас появится возможность расширять функционал. Выводить в печать в удобном для вас виде. Сохранение в pdf. Масштабируемость рабочих мест. Полная история. Уровни доступа для пользователей и т.д.
