Crypto Soft Application Tester

About us:
"Crypto Soft (Name hidden until the app is released)" is a simple app for viewing cryptocurrency rates. No complicated transactions, no wallets, just a widget with numbers and a chart. We are looking for guys without experience who can tap on the screen and aren't afraid to say something is broken.

Main condition: you must have an Android phone (version 10 or higher). We will provide everything else.

What you will do:

1. Sit and tap on our app "Crypto Soft" for 4–5 hours a day.

2. Check if the screens open, if the chart loads, if the numbers in the Bitcoin rate table change.

3. If you find that the app crashes or shows nonsense (for example, instead of $60,000 it shows $0) — write down in a notebook or in a Google Sheet what exactly you pressed and what you saw.

4. Take screenshots of the screen with the bug and send them to the senior tester on Telegram.

5. Run through the same scenario for each new build of the app — this is called regression testing, but for you, it's just "go through the screens and check that everything is in place".

What you don't need to do:

• Write code.

• Understand servers and databases.

• Communicate with clients.

• Know English (it will be a plus, but not necessary — the app interface is in Russian).

Technical requirements (which are also your only responsibilities):

• Be able to take screenshots on your phone (volume button + lock).

• Be able to record video from the screen if the bug is hard to explain in words.

• Be able to reinstall the app (delete and download again via Google Play or the APK file we will send you).

• Know what "logs" are, but not be able to read them — we will do that for you. The main thing is to let us know that the app crashed.

• Be attentive: if on one screen the number is 100, and on the next screen it has turned into 10 — this is a bug, not "as intended".

We offer:

• Salary: negotiable (symbolic), at first you can be an intern for free, if you are up for training — but if you show results, we will throw you bonuses.

• Schedule: flexible, but you need to fulfill your volume. On average — 2–3 hours a day, the rest of the time you sit on your phone, studying the app.

• Training: a senior colleague will guide you on what to do and how to document bugs. You will learn to work in Jira (the bug tracking system) — this will be your first point on your resume.

• Office: remote. You work from home or from the couch — the main thing is that you have your phone with you.

How we work:

• Every day at 10:00 AM there is a general call on Telegram — 5 minutes, the senior says what to test today.

• After testing, you send a report: "Everything works" or "Found bugs — here are the screenshots".

• We do not require complex reports from you. The main thing is — do not stay silent if something goes wrong.

How to join us:

1. Respond with a brief message: "I have Android [version], I am ready to tap".

2. We will send you a link to download the test version of the app.

3. You take a test: open the app and follow a list of 10 points (for example, "open the chart, change the currency, refresh the rates") and take a screenshot of each step.

4. If you did everything correctly and didn't break your phone — you are accepted.

5. No technical interviews. If you can read — you qualify.
