How I will fix this:
Direct: I will check the logic of receiving messages (Webhooks or Cron) and whether the permissions (instagram_manage_messages) in the token are sufficient.
Account list: I will debug the request for retrieving pages. Often, the Instagram account "drops" if it is not linked as instagram_business_account in the API response.
Counter: I will find the code in header.php (or menu controller) and correct the counting logic so that the number is global and does not disappear.
