It is necessary to create a 3D model of wooden clocks in the shape of a world map in STEP (STP) format. We already have an image of the map in STL format, which can be used as a basis for work.

Main tasks:

1. Create two separate parts:

The base (the lower round part) with recesses (grooves) for inserting the continents.

The continents (land parts) that will be installed in the grooves.

2. Technical requirements:

Base: 25 mm (increase the height by 0.5 mm compared to the original model which is in STL)

Continents: 7.5 mm (make them 2.5 mm taller compared to the original design)

The continents must be separate elements.

3. Preparation of assembly drawing:

Create a STEP file for each part + a general assembly file.

Prepare an assembly drawing for clarity of the connection of parts.

4. Division of continents:

Provide convenient division of continents for ease of production and assembly (parts should be stable, with a minimal number of separate elements).

Example of division:

1. North America – one part (including Greenland or separately, if needed).

2. South America – one part.

3. Eurasia – can be divided:

Europe – as a separate part (can be combined with part of Western Russia).

Asia – a large element.

4. Africa – as one part.

5. Australia – a separate part.

6. Antarctica – as a separate part.

7. Islands – can be combined in small groups so they do not get lost and are easier to assemble.

If minor adjustments to the cutting lines are required, changes can be discussed.
