Putting the needs of users to the forefront of the design process helps us make good choices in terms layout, technology, interactivity etc..
When presented with a new technology or technique it is common behaviour to over use, or use it without regard to the fact it may not be enhancing the users experience.
jQuery provides a set of very powerful libraries which greatly simplifies the process of adding interactivity to websites. However, jQuery should be used sparringly and only in the context of user-centered design.

Discuss what approach you have used to inform what interactive elements are appropriate for the websites you are creating. Do you think this has lead to a balanced use of technology, why? Research usability and web design. What recommendations would you give to yourself about using libraries such as jQuery to enhance and add value to any website design project?
it should be written as a "reflective piece". Think of it as a personal diary and the language should reflect this. Do not use technical writing or writing in the third person. Use phrases like I think ... I believe ... I have found ... It surprises me to find that .... In my opinion... throughout the piece.
The entry should really show that you have not just absorbed the information and reproduced it, but considered it and reflected on it. It should show a deeper level of understanding then just repetition!
