Responsibilities:
- Development and support of the website interface on WordPress with the WC store module and manual processing of database and 1C work for loading and adjusting products. (this is not classic WordPress)
- Layout of responsive pages according to layouts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design).
- Integration with the database: design and optimization of queries, working with MySQL.
- Management of the product catalog: adding/updating products and categories, configuring attributes, filters, tags.
- Loading and importing products: configuring loading processes (from CSV, XML, API), processing field matches, automating updates.
- Development and support of custom modules in PHP (custom modifications) and integration with existing functionality.
- Development and integration of APIs (REST/GraphQL) for data exchange with external systems (suppliers, payments, analytics).
- Working with WordPress/WooCommerce plugins: configuration, optimization, customization.
- Ensuring security, backup, monitoring, and site resilience.
- Testing and deployment: local development, staging, production, version control (Git).
- Support and participation in task planning for the development of the online store.
Requirements:
- Experience as a web developer/layout designer of at least 2–3 years, preferably with commercial projects in the field of online stores.
- Confident knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including AJAX, jQuery, or modern frameworks).
- Experience with PHP and MySQL: database structure design, query optimization, security.
- Experience in loading and importing products into catalogs (CSV/XML/API), working with importers and customizing fields.
- Experience in developing custom modules/plugins in PHP, knowledge of REST API and/or GraphQL.
- Experience working with external service APIs (suppliers, payment systems, logistics).
- Understanding of SEO principles, performance, and caching.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Attention to detail, ability to work in a team, responsibility for deadlines.
- Good communication skills; knowledge of English for reading documentation is preferred.
Desired skills (welcomed but not mandatory):
- Experience with advanced WooCommerce features (import/export generators, custom product fields, variations).
- Experience with migrations and transferring data between sites.
- Experience working with CMS and ERP/CRM API integrations.
- Knowledge of UI/UX for online stores, A/B testing.
