Katerina, the main problem with vectorizing a black-and-white logo is not the contour itself, but maintaining the optical proportions between the text and the symbol. If you simply convert pixels to curves, the text will "shift" in stroke thickness and will look different in print than in the raster original.
What I will do essentially:
— I will manually convert the image and text into Bezier curves, without auto-tracing — the curves will be clean, without unnecessary nodes.
— I will vectorize the text and graphic symbol separately, so you can edit the size of each element individually.
— I will prepare the finals in three formats: AI for editing, EPS for printing, SVG for the web.
A detail that is often overlooked: if the original has a gray gradient or halftones — they need to be converted into a raster mask or replaced with solid black. For printed logos, halftones often create problems on press. If this is the case — I will show you and suggest options for approval.
Vectorizing black-and-white graphics is my daily work. The stack is simple: Illustrator + manual drawing of curves.
I work through Safe and in stages: first, I will show the vectorized contour on a working example — we will approve it, then I will gather the final files. To start, I need the raster original of the logo in the highest resolution available.
