Technical task for the editor — graduation video
General idea
Create an emotional video clip for the 11th-grade graduation based on photos and short videos of students over the years of study (1st–11th grade), set to a music track.
Source materials
Photos of students from different years (1st grade → 11th grade)
Short videos (from phones, school events)
Music track (will be provided separately)
Key effect — "Time Travel"
For each student (or group of students) create a transition/morphing:
Starts with a photo of the student in 11th grade (now)
Gradually transforms or flows into a photo of the same student in 1st grade
Implementation option: split-screen, morph transition, or "machine" effect, where the adult version seems to take the hand of the younger version of themselves
Technically this can be done through:
Crossfade/morph transitions (After Effects, Premiere with plugins like FlowMotion)
Or simpler: side-by-side comparison "Was → Became"
Structure of the clip
Intro (5-10 sec) — class name, year of graduation
Main part — chronology: 1st grade → higher grades → graduation (photos + videos to music, editing to the beat)
Climax — transition effect "adult student / first-grader" for each or several students
Final — group photo of the class, wish inscription
Technical requirements
Format: 16:9, Full HD (1920x1080) minimum
Duration: 3-5 minutes (to be confirmed with the client)
Music: synchronization of editing cuts with the rhythm of the track
Color correction: bring all photos/videos from different years to a unified style
