We create premium children's mobiles from felt entirely by hand - all elements are sewn exclusively with a needle, without the use of sewing machines. Our main product is an aesthetic mobile featuring a large soft whale, balloons, clouds, and stars on a metal ring.
What needs to be done:
We are looking for a talented videographer/product photographer in Lviv to conduct a comprehensive shoot (video process + product photos). The shoot is oriented towards a vertical mobile format (9:16) for trading platforms and social media.
The task consists of two parts:
1. Video shooting (7 short scenes for a 15-second clip):
It is necessary to shoot 7 frames on a phone or camera with the appropriate mobile aesthetic (soft diffused daylight, beautiful background blur). Reference images for each scene are attached to the task.
- Scene 1: The mobile in focus at the center (angle from below up from the crib), with two artisans smiling warmly in the blurred background.
- Scene 2: A hand pushes a dense roll of felt, which dynamically unrolls across the table towards the camera.
- Scene 3: The hands of the senior artisan press a whale template against the fabric and outline it with chalk.
- Scene 4: The hands of the junior artisan carefully cut out details with large fabric scissors.
- Scene 5: Close-up (macro), where fingers with a needle make a neat hand stitch on the felt whale.
- Scene 6: Two artisans together in the frame hold the finished mobile and delicately adjust the length of the threads.
- Scene 7: Angle directly from above (Flat lay), where the finished mobile and a postcard are carefully placed in a gift box.
2. Product photography:
- Aesthetic photographs of the mobile in a suspended state (overall view of the product).
- Macro photographs of details (demonstrating neat hand stitches, the volume of figures, the shine of stars).
- Photos of branded packaging (closed box with ribbon, as well as an open box with tissue paper and a card inside).
Requirements for the performer:
- Availability of a modern smartphone with a quality camera or a camera with light-sensitive optics for good background blur.
- Ability to work with soft, natural light (without harsh shadows).
- Portfolio in the field of product photography, lifestyle, or process shooting (craft / hand-made).
- Location: Lviv (the shoot will take place at our location).
Expected results:
- Quality output video materials for the 7 described scenes (or a ready-edited 15-second clip).
- 10–15 processed product photographs of high resolution.
