Video Editor (Event / Ceremony Editing) Test Project
100 USD We are looking for an experienced video editor to work on a simple project — editing a video of Jewish ritual ceremonies that can be worked on in the future.
📌 Project Description:
- Editing an intro (2.5–3 minutes) to music
- Editing the ceremony (approximately 1 hour)
- 2 camera ceremony
- Synchronization of audio and video
The project is technically simple, without complex creative requirements — accuracy and clean editing are important.
⚙️ Technical Requirements:
- Work through proxy files + XML workflow
- Preference will be given to editors who work in Final Cut Pro and can provide the Project and other files. (I use Final Cut, so this is important to me)
- We also consider other editors depending on their level and experience.
📦 What needs to be provided after completion (if working in Final Cut Pro):
- Project (Library / Project file)
- XML file
- All used materials:
- transitions
- LUTs / color correction
- any additional effects
(this is necessary for the possibility of further edits on our side)
If you are working in other software:
- XML file with all processing (editing, color correction, effects), prepared for correct import
(it is important that the project reproduces as accurately as possible after importing the XML)

Dear video editors,
Please refrain from submitting proposals with a budget in the range of $200–$500, as such rates are inappropriate for this project.
The video has a simple structure: a short intro and editing from two static cameras without complex dynamics or additional effects.
I would also like to point out that the work is done on proxy files using XML and is not the final result of the video. This is just a basic assembly of the structure, as final edits, transitions, and effects will be done by me.
Considering the scope and complexity of the work, the estimated budget for the project is $50–$100.
