The purpose of this task is to transfer 60+ databases from local servers to a remote postgreSQL reverse cluster.Each database has a different volume (from 100 MB to 200 GB) and a large load.The conditions: *
1 .Create a responsive PostgreSQL cluster from 2+ servers.The 2ndSet the transfer of all 60+ databases on test servers with documentation and verify their functionality.3 .Transfer the databases to the targeted servers after successful testing.and 4.Ensure the continuous operation of all databases during the transfer.and 5.Use Patroni or an alternative tool to ensure cluster resistance.* Details of the task: *
1 .Installation of the test cluster:
- Install PostgreSQL on test servers.Create a reversible cluster with at least 2 servers.- Use Patroni to control resistance (or an alternative tool according to the instructions).- Set backup copying and database restoration.The 2ndTesting on the test servers:
- Transfer some test databases to the test cluster.- Make sure the data is transferred correctly and the bases work on the new cluster.- Protest resistance and restoration after the collapse.3 .Transfer to the Docked Server:
- After successful testing transfer all the databases to the Dockheed server.To ensure a minimum impact on productivity during transfer.and 4.Monitoring and logging:
- Set up the monitoring system to track the cluster and database status.- Include events logging to identify problems and solve them in time.and 5.The documentation:
