Redirects to external resources have appeared on the WordPress site.
It seems that the infection has affected at least the wp-config.php file; I am removing the foreign code, but it reappears after some time (1-2 times a day).

The virus returns because somewhere deep in the files (most likely in the uploads folder or in plugins) there is a hidden backdoor script that re-infects the system files on a schedule (via Cron).
