Website fixing and renewal
I have a non-commercial website which is an encyclopaedia of (mainly Russian) art built on principles similar to Wikipedia with cross-references between different pages. There are around 2,500 pages written in English and I ultimately aim to have 10,000 pages (the texts are written and just need to be uploaded).
The website has a number of technical and design problems. The main problem is technical. The website is online but no longer showing up on Google (and other search engine) searches. It is not indexing. The design is rather primitive and the front page needs updating.
The website is built using Joomla and Flexicontent. I have found that it does not work any longer using anything higher than PHP 5.4. It was created in 2011 and actively built up in 2012-14, but I have not worked on it for around 5 years now.
I am looking for someone who is able to detect exactly what is wrong with the website and to fix it so that it begins showing up again in Google searches. That is the first step. Then I would like to think about redesigning the website (it may even require a completely new format).
