Wordpress developer to maintain & improve existing sites
Hi there,
We need the services of an experienced WordPress and WooCommerce developer to join our team on an ongoing basis.
S/he will need to manage several WordPress and WooCommerce-based websites that have been heavily customized.
A great candidate will be comfortable with creating or editing WordPress ( and WooCommerce-related) plugins and themes. You will use PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS to make changes to existing code to suit our needs. Occasionally we will create a fresh plugin/theme from scratch. Experience with MySQL ( writing direct sql queries, exploring existing data in WooCommerce tables, export/import, etc ) would be of great help to you and us.
Please note that our largest WooCommerce installation has more than 500 orders per day - we need to add a lot of optimizations to handle peak site load. This also means that you must be able to quickly diagnose and fix things - both on the frontend and backend side.
You will also work with Elementor and JetEngine. Knowledge of Git/Linux/AWS is preferred but not necessary.
