Do some research and find a film, an episode of a television show from the 1950s to the present, a music video, a piece of digital online media, or a recording of a radio broadcast and discuss this piece in relation to the history of media development we have discussed in the second half of the semester. Be sure to relate this piece to at least one of the assigned readings. If you find a more relevant scholarly article or book chapter, you are welcome to substitute that for the class reading.
