I have a homemade website www.h-x.technology on Wordpress. There are plugins Google Site Kit (GSK), Complianz, Contact Form 7, etc. Through GSK, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Ads are set up manually. In Ads, 3 remarketing campaigns are set up manually: 1 search and 2 Performance Max. Change management is unsystematic. Ads conversions/goals are not working well. Until 26.11.2024, only the intermediate conversion - transition to the feedback form was working. Since 27.11.2024, it has stopped working as well. Remarketing needs to be set up, and preferably analytics. Find errors in the settings of GSK, GTM, GA4, and/or Ads, as well as set up conversions/goals: intermediate (transitions to contacts) and final (form submission) with different cost metrics. A secondary task is to set up GA4 conversions/goals. If there are other improvements, that would also be good. In the future - more complex and long-term tasks, up to ongoing support for these systems.
The site operates in four environments: h-x.local - individual environments on developers' computers, who experiment with specific individual issues, dev5.h-x.technology - the main collective development environment, where we make 99% of all changes, uat.h-x.technology - testing environment, where we copy files and the database of the dev5 site during releases (usually on weekends) and test everything manually and with various tools (Ahrefs Audit, NU HTML Validator, etc.), www.h-x.technology - production, where we copy the uat site after successful testing. Some WP plugins are tied to the domain name. We tried to make exceptions for copying for Complianz and Google Site Kit, but it turned out to be not easy. As a result, we asked Complianz to provide us with a separate license for the dev5 server, and we restore Google Site Kit on production manually after each release. Therefore, most likely, we will have to go one of the following ways: a) provide you access to dev5, then we need to wait for the weekend for the release and checks, b) provide you access to production, then we will need to coordinate each of your changes with you to avoid breaking anything, and most likely, we will need to write manual recovery procedures for each release, as production is overwritten from uat with each release, c) have a call so I can show you how everything works and jointly decide how to proceed.
The previous freelancer made several versions of GTM but did not finish them completely. I can send you his comments and screenshots to better understand the current state.
