Adaptation and digitization of the drawing for laser cutting
Digitization and technological preparation of the output drawing of a complex-shaped part for further cutting on a CNC machine has been completed.
What was done as part of the task:
Vectorization and geometry control: Based on the sketch provided by the client with dimensions, the part was fully redrawn in engineering software. The accuracy of all dimensions (210x210 mm), radii, distances between axes, and the location of holes was verified.
Technological adaptation: The contour of the part was prepared considering the specifics of laser cutting of sheet metal (stainless steel AISI 304 with a thickness of 5 mm). All lines were closed, there are no overlaps of contours or micro-gaps, ensuring correct reading of the file by the machine and a clean cut.
Preparation of final files: The result of the work was exported and delivered to the client in the agreed production format DXF.
