All in hole - Kitty Sort
Hello, this is another advertising video for a mobile game, Kitty Sort. It was a challenging task for me to create the moving hole inside Unreal, especially with physics simulation on the spheres. The hole changes size and borders depending on the amount of spheres. Cat heads inside the sphere are just a sprite animation, and they are always looking at the camera. The hole material is a decal connected to the blueprint logic, and the floor material is a tri-planar shader with a world position and the same applies to the floor, and this gives us a feel of static mesh and boolean-like behavior. Then I did some compositing in AE, tweaked some colors, changed speed, etc.
