Apple Business Connect / Apple Maps / Waze for two Ukrainian auto projects

Task:
The client needed to add two business locations to Apple Maps and prepare the process for Waze: ТО24 and ДВІРНИКИ24. Before the start, the risks of Apple moderation were discussed in advance: checking phone numbers on the website, domain verification via TXT record, requirements for facade photos, and Waze's "Drive to Edit" limitation. Additionally, the conditions for closing the project were established upfront to ensure that the work would not depend on the speed of Apple moderators for weeks.

What I did:
I gathered data on the two locations: websites, addresses, phone numbers, working hours, Google Maps links, facade photos, logos, and descriptions of activities. After that, I started the registration for Apple Business Connect and prepared for domain verification via TXT records. The project was officially accepted under the terms of 3550 UAH for 10 days, and payment was reserved through a Safe.

Main difficulty:
The project faced strict limitations from Apple: issues with Apple ID registration, security filters, blocks on the Ukrainian region, difficulties with Ukrainian domains and numbers. To complete the registration, I had to use a German number, bypass Apple Business Connect restrictions, and find a working scheme through an international domain / TXT verification. Ultimately, I was able to create a company account and overcome some key technical barriers.

Non-standard solution:
When Apple Business Connect physically did not allow adding Ukrainian locations directly through the corporate cabinet, an alternative scheme was applied: manual addition of points through an iPhone in Apple Maps, with a further plan to take these points under control after publication. At the same time, a model of operation through the local presence of the user with the navigator was established for Waze, as Waze restricts remote addition of points without GPS history in the region.

Result:
The technical infrastructure was created, the business account and brands were prepared, domain verification was completed in the accessible part, points were sent for moderation / manual addition, and the client received further support after the project was closed. The project was successfully closed through a Safe, payment was transferred, and the client left feedback: “Positive experience, I will reach out.”

Basic addition of 1–2 points in Apple Maps / Waze — from $100–150.
Apple Business Connect + domain TXT verification — from $150–250.
Complex moderation with regional blocks, workaround scenarios, and support — $250–400+.
Full package: Apple Maps + Waze + report + support until publication — from $300+.
