Project: specialized application for companies in the oil and gas sector (#oilgas #b2c) that automates part of operations and user interaction.
Role: business analyst in a product/outsourcing team.
What has been done:
- Conducted interviews with domain experts to understand the specifics of processes in the oil and gas industry.
- Described key business processes and use cases for the system by different roles.
- Prepared functional requirements (user stories, use cases), agreed with the client and the technical team.
- Participated in clarifying requirements during the development and testing of solutions.
Result: the team received a clear vision of business tasks and functionality, which allowed progress without constant returns to "what are we actually doing?".
