Development of a mascot and sticker pack "Tavern Siti Lis"
Task: Create a unique mascot character (a Fox) and develop a branded sticker pack with 8–12 emotions for a Discord server. The stickers should be versatile: suitable for both digital communication in chats and for high-quality physical printing (merch, sticker packs).
Project specification:
Theme: Tabletop role-playing games (primarily Dungeons & Dragons), creativity, cozy atmosphere of a medieval tavern.
Key element: A mandatory branded token around the character's neck depicting a wooden beer mug.
Technical requirements: High resolution, clear outlines (Line art), color profile for print, white outline for easy cutting with a plotter.
Work stages:
1. Style and lining search (Line Art)
Based on the client's wishes (file watermarked_img_10555428632096035858.png), the general anatomy and character of the Fox were developed. It turned out charismatic, lively, and friendly. At this stage, 7 basic storylines reflecting the community's interests were approved:
- Fox dungeon master (DM) with a d20 die and a scroll.
- Fox bartender pouring drinks at the tavern bar.
- Fox strategist studying a tactical map and miniatures.
- Main concept art of the character in full height with a d20 in a branded leather vest.
- Fox artist with a palette (symbol of the community's creative direction).
- Sleeping fox on boxes of board games (emotion of relaxation).
- Fox playing a tabletop game at a table.
2. Working with color and finalization
After approving the line sketches, a final colored version was created (file watermarked_img_11651211560996963404.png).
Color palette: Warm, cozy shades (ginger, deep brown, beige) associated with the wooden interior of the tavern and candlelight.
Outline: A soft outline was added to each sticker, making them clear on any background in Discord (both dark and light themes) and preparing them for seamless printing.
Tools and technical specifications:
Software: [Specify your program, e.g., Procreate / Photoshop / Illustrator]
Format: PNG with a transparent background + ready vectors/TIFF for printing.
Resolution: 300 DPI (CMYK for print, RGB for Discord).
Result: The client received a fully adapted branding tool for their community request. The stickers increased user engagement on the Discord server and became the basis for creating the first line of physical tavern merch.
