Development of a responsive portfolio website on WordPress
Description:
I built this project from scratch: from registering hosting and a domain to final edits in the code. The main idea was to create a fast website that I wouldn't be ashamed to show as an example of my work.
What I specifically did:
Built from scratch: Fully configured WordPress, chose a lightweight theme, and structured the blocks using Elementor.
Custom buttons and design: Since the standard settings of plugins are often limited, I wrote custom CSS so that the buttons, margins, and borders looked the way I wanted them to, rather than how they were in the template.
Full optimization: Set up caching and image compression. As a result, the site received high scores in Google PageSpeed (90+), which is rare for heavy builders.
Responsiveness: I wrote styles so that the website looked even on any smartphone and nothing "overflowed" beyond the edges.
Stack: WordPress, Elementor, CSS (custom code), Google Search Console.
