Diagram of business processes of the metal door manufacturing company

This diagram (flowchart) illustrates the sequence of business processes (from the moment an order is received to the manufacturing and delivery of the finished product (for example, doors) for the metal door manufacturing company. Each colored block or segment symbolizes a specific department or stage of work, while arrows and connections illustrate how different subdivisions (managers, production, logistics) interact with each other.

1) Management and planning. The process begins with a request from the client, after which the managers analyze the requirements and formulate the technical specifications. Next, they create a preliminary production plan, determine the necessary materials and timelines.

2) Production and quality control. The manufacturing of doors includes metal and woodworking, painting, and assembly. Each section includes quality control stages: if defects are found, the product is returned for reworking or replacement of parts.

3) Logistics and warehousing. If additional materials are needed, they are ordered and delivered to the warehouse. Finished products, after final inspection, are also placed in the warehouse, where they are stored until shipment.

4) Shipment and installation (if necessary). When all production stages are completed, the logistics department forms a batch for shipment, determines transportation and delivery timelines. If installation is required, the installation team plans the departure and installation of the doors at the site.

5) Return of defects or reworking. In case defects are found during delivery or installation, the product is returned to the appropriate production section for defect correction, after which it undergoes re-inspection for quality.

6) Project completion. After successful delivery and (if necessary) installation, the managers record the final status. All information about the order, logistics, and manufacturing process is stored for analytics and improvement of future projects.

This flowchart illustrates the complete cycle: from the moment the client makes a request to the completion of work and satisfaction of their needs.
