VR game "Sea Battle" (published on Meta Quest)
Developed and optimized a full-fledged VR game "Sea Battle" for Meta Quest on behalf of a game studio. The game is dedicated to dynamic naval battles: enemy ships attack the player with missiles, while the player launches torpedoes across the water, trying to sink them.
My contribution (almost the entire development cycle — from concept to release):
- Creation and optimization of all assets: 3D models of ships, torpedoes, missiles, environments (sea, cliffs, islands).
- UI/UX design for VR: intuitive interfaces, HUD, menus, targeting.
- Animations: movements of ships, launches of torpedoes and missiles, explosions, interaction with water.
- Visual and sound effects: waves, fire, smoke, gunfire, explosions.
- A large part of the game logic: shooting and torpedo launch logic, animation and sound playback, AI of enemy ships (movement, attacks, evasion), polishing (balancing, performance optimization for VR).
Main interaction logic — in collaboration with a programmer.
The game was developed in Unity 3D and published on the Meta Quest Store.
Tools: Unity 3D, Cinema 4D (3D models), Photoshop/Midjourney (concepts), FMOD/Audacity (sounds).
