GoTeachMe — EdTech Platform & Tutor Booking App
GoTeachMe is a modern cross-platform service (website and mobile app) for finding tutors and conveniently booking educational classes. The project aims to simplify communication between tutors and students, as well as optimize the scheduling process.
What was done during the UX/UI research:
User Analysis: Investigated the pain points of both target audiences (students and tutors). Identified the main problems: difficulty in coordinating time, loss of lesson links, and a lack of trust in new tutors.
Schedule Optimization (UX): Redesigned the calendar interface. Moved available slots into a separate, clear timeline for quick visual scanning and booking in a few clicks, significantly reducing cognitive load.
Building Trust: Implemented comprehensive tutor profiles with a social proof section (verified reviews, ratings, video introductions) to increase booking conversions.
Notification Center: Designed a unified hub (in-app messaging) where all booking confirmations, online meeting links, and educational materials are centrally stored so users never lose track of anything.
Clean UI: Created a light, minimalist interface that does not distract from the main goal — learning.
