GamingLab – E-commerce Cross-Platform Experience
GamingLab is a cross-platform e-commerce project (website and mobile app) created for gamers, combining dynamic gaming aesthetics with high functionality for selecting peripherals.
What was done during the UX/UI research:
User Analysis: Researched the journey of the key persona (developer and streamer) and identified three main problems in existing stores: confusing navigation, lack of detailed technical specifications, and a high abandonment rate at the checkout stage.
Information Architecture: Developed a clear catalog structure to quickly find devices by their technical parameters, minimizing cognitive load.
Interaction Optimization (Usability Study): Based on testing, replaced standard previews with full-fledged cart and wishlist pages, integrated detailed reviews to build trust, and added saved payment cards for instant checkout.
Accessibility & Visual Style: Combined energetic gaming aesthetics (Dark UI) with strict accessibility rules (high contrast elements and large touch targets for mobile devices).
