Lumi — Beauty Commerce Mobile App
Lumi is a mobile e-commerce application for the beauty industry, combining clean visual aesthetics with intuitive functionality for a seamless cosmetics and skincare shopping experience.
Key UX/UI Deliverables & Research:
• User Analysis: Analyzed the user journey of our key persona and identified critical friction points (catalog clutter, information overload with complex ingredient lists, and high cart abandonment at checkout).
• Mobile-First Architecture: Crafted a streamlined structure and low-fidelity wireframes tailored for an intuitive, one-handed navigation experience on the go.
• Interface Optimization (Usability Study): Based on user testing, added a quick "Add to Cart" action directly to category cards to accelerate repeat purchases, integrated prominent Sort/Filter options to eliminate decision fatigue, and centralized saved addresses/payment methods for a friction-free, single-tap checkout.
• Digital Accessibility: Implemented generous touch targets and strategic spacing to reduce cognitive load and prevent accidental mistaps, ensuring an inclusive experience for all users.
The project was developed from initial low-fidelity concepts to a high-fidelity interactive prototype.
