LOGO FOR TOBACCO COMPANY
About the project: Development of a complete identity and sign design for a specialized vaping and tobacco products store. The task was to create a premium yet accessible and recognizable visual style that clearly communicates the product range.
Tasks:
1. Develop a logo: Create a unique and vibrant logo that combines the themes of vaping and classic tobacco.
2. Create sign design: Design a sign that attracts attention and is easy to read. It should be durable and stylish.
3. Select a color scheme: Choose colors that evoke trust, emphasize the premium nature of the products, and are associated with both categories of goods.
Process:
1. Analysis and research:
o Market study: Analyzed logos and styles of competitors in the vaping and tobacco store niche. Identified key trends and gaps that can be filled.
o Defining the target audience: Created a portrait of the typical buyer. These are people of various ages who value quality and variety in tobacco and vaping products.
o Brand platform: Formulated the key values of the brand: quality, choice, reliability, modernity.
2. Logo development (Conceptualization):
o Sketches and mood boards: Created several dozen sketches, experimenting with different elements: vapor clouds, tobacco leaves, classic smoking pipes, modern vape devices. Compiled mood boards with examples of stylish logos in related fields.
o Direction selection: Settled on a concept that combines a stylized vapor cloud with the classic symbol of a tobacco leaf or smoking pipe to reflect both categories of products.
o Refinement: Created several logo variants, playing with shape, fonts, and composition. Checked how the logo looks at different scales and on various media.
3. Color scheme selection:
o Experiments: Tested different color combinations: black and gold, deep blue and white, green and brown.
o Final decision: Chose a combination of dark blue (association with trust and stability) with warm brown/terracotta (association with tobacco and naturalness) and accent white (for clarity and cleanliness).
4. Creation of the sign and media:
o Typography: Selected a clean and modern font that is easy to read from a distance. Added contrasting fonts for subtitles and fine print.
o Sign layout: Developed a sign layout considering its size and location. Ensured that the store name "VAPE DEALER / TOBACCO MARKET" is the central element.
o Other media: Created layouts for business cards, packaging bags, product labels, and social media page designs.
Final result:
A complete identity has been created that helps the "VAPE DEALER / TOBACCO MARKET" store stand out among competitors and attract new customers. The client received:
