MKL.ua — online store of contact lenses
MKL.ua — online store of contact lenses, optics, and related products. At the time of contact, the website was on the verge of decline: technical problems, competitive pressure from giants like Luxoptica, and a steady decrease in traffic. The goal of the project was to stop the traffic decline and restore a stable flow of orders.
The main tasks of this project were:
- Stop the traffic decline
- Restore the site's visibility for commercial queries
- Rebuild trust with search engines
- Ensure a stable volume of organic orders.
Work carried out:
1. Complete technical audit of the site (404 errors, redirects, microdata, sitemap, speed)
2. Development of a new category structure: now each brand and product type has its own page
3. SEO optimization of pages for commercial queries (type + brand + adjustments + delivery)
4. Adding descriptions, characteristics, parameter tables — improving UX
5. Building an internal linking strategy
6. Implementing an SEO blog for informational traffic
7. Connecting analytics and continuous search position auditing
Results:
Organic traffic: from 1,300 to 120,471 users/month
Year-over-year traffic growth: +145.76%
Number of orders: 100+ orders daily
Keywords: 3,300+ in visibility
Domain authority (DR): increased to 27
