3D modeling of a custom key-remover for large canisters
Development of a convenient and sturdy tool (socket wrench) for safely and easily unscrewing tight/frozen caps on large industrial canisters.
The detail was designed for a specific cap profile. Inside, there are precise grooves for reliable fixation (to prevent the wrench from stripping the edges of the cap). The main feature of the model is the added massive side "ears" (levers) that significantly increase the torque. This allows for easy opening of the container, completely avoiding hand injuries.
A reliable CAD model of the specialized tool has been created. The design is optimized for 3D printing with durable engineering plastics (considering the correct layer direction for maximum break resistance).
