3D modeling of a folding clip-lock for car speakers
Development of an accurate 3D model of a folding automotive clip for reliable attachment of the tubing to the body.
The model features a complex "clamp" design with a movable bend. The mounting anchor ("mushroom") for securing in the metal of the body has been meticulously reproduced, as well as a system of toothed locks that securely close the clip around the tubing and prevent it from opening due to vibrations.
An exact parametric part, fully optimized for 3D printing. The latches are designed to ensure a strong closure without the risk of breaking the plastic during installation.
