3D modeling of a moving Christmas star (decorative accessory)

Creation of a detailed 3D model of a traditional Ukrainian Christmas star (caroling star) measuring 15 cm. The model was developed on order as a functional accessory for an author's soft toy.

The star features a complex multi-layered design with intricate through patterns. The main technical feature of the model is the built-in moving mechanism. The star freely rotates on its axis, mimicking a real caroling star.

An aesthetic and functional model, where decorative design and engineering approach to moving joints are perfectly combined. The detail is fully calculated for high-quality 3D printing.
