Reactive attachment disorder is a mental illness in which the child does not have an emotional connection with the parents or guardians.
Disorder of attachment is a normal reaction to the abnormal conditions of early childhood: harsh behavior, negligence, education in the conditions of internat. When the needs of a child are constantly ignored, it cannot develop in itself the sense of love and security necessary to form confidence. Rejection of emotional proximity helps to survive where no one loves or regrets the child.
Experts believe that ARP does not require medical treatment. Therapeutic is the observance of the 3 most important components of the environment:
Safety
Stability
Sensitivity
