I successfully implemented a project for actively searching for suppliers and managing the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process in the European market, particularly in Poland. The task required attention to technical details, communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to unforeseen situations.

Client's task
The client needed to find qualified manufacturers of metal structures (metal bending) who could produce products according to technical requirements and provide a complete commercial proposal — including materials, processing, and logistics — for placing a pilot order.

Supplier search and preliminary selection
I contacted over 50 potential companies to minimize risks during the search. After a technical review, only 5 manufacturers confirmed compliance with the requirements and readiness to accept the order.

Challenges and solutions

Delay in receiving price proposals: due to high market demand, suppliers sent responses late.
Solution: I maintained constant communication with the client, regularly reported on the progress of the process, and reminded suppliers of deadlines to avoid missing deadlines.

Crisis situation: one of the suppliers withdrew from participation.
Solution: I quickly found a new candidate who promptly provided their commercial proposal.

Result
The task of searching and pre-qualifying suppliers was successfully completed. The client received a clear action plan for obtaining final commercial proposals and moving to the contract signing stage.
