Quick visualization of the building
In order to ensure confidentiality and protect copyright, all contact information, location information, and the name of the project architect have been removed from the original document of this project (which was real).
This work was conducted solely for the purpose of determining the terms, scope, and cost of my participation in a similar project, as well as to demonstrate the results.
1. There are situations when you have an old construction project (#building). You have the building itself. You want to #renovate it or make changes to its appearance. (Let me clarify right away – this is not landscape design, but the design of the building's exterior). The client wants to visualize how the proposed project will look. But you only have access to the old project documentation.
2. What can be done with this:
- If you have #PDF documents, you can #scale them in CAD software to make approximate measurements and compile a list of new elements with dimensions (this will not be suitable for builders, but calculating the cost is quite possible). This will take about 2-3 days.
- Create a visualization of the building's exterior using a simplified model with the necessary adjustments (again, not suitable for construction, but a good understanding of the result). The timelines will depend on the scale and complexity of the work. In this project, the work was completed in 8 days (equivalent to $350).
- I will immediately answer a frequently asked question: "I do not provide a 3D model, as the goal of the event is the final image." The model will be created hastily, in a simplified program, and is not suitable for production or photorealism.
