Online store on Shopify for sale in Ukraine
The main goal of the project:
Creating a highly productive, visually attractive online store based on the premium theme "Symmetry" for effective sales of goods on the Ukrainian market. Emphasis on deep customization, advanced catalog functions, Ukrainian logistics and ensuring flawless multilingualism.
My role and tasks performed:
I was responsible for the full cycle of development, configuration and customization of the E-commerce platform, using the capabilities of the premium theme and introducing unique software solutions.
Development based on the premium theme and customization:
Installation and full configuration of the premium Shopify theme - Symmetry.
Development "from scratch" of custom blocks and sections (beyond the standard functionality of the theme) for:
Unique banners with flexible content settings.
Custom blocks on product pages (Product Pages) to demonstrate the benefits or characteristics of the product.
Complex catalog structure and filtering:
Organization of 88 separate product collections for logical and convenient navigation.
Implementation of a custom product filtering system that allows users to quickly and accurately find the desired product by various parameters.
Extended product properties (Metafields):
33 unique product properties (metafields) have been developed and implemented, which provide:
Detailed display of specific characteristics on the product page.
The ability to use these properties in the filtering system.
Integration of payment and logistics solutions:
Implementation and configuration of payment systems adapted to work in Ukraine (for example, LiqPay, Portmone, or other local gateways).
Configuration of delivery services and cost calculation in accordance with tariffs and delivery zones across the territory of Ukraine.
Implementation of Multilingualism (Localization Setup):
Full configuration of the functionality to support three languages: Ukrainian, English and Russian.

Technologies: Liquid (Shopify template language), HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, JavaScript.
Result for the client:
A powerful, flexible and multilingual online store with well-thought-out logistics for the Ukrainian market was created. Deep customization, a complex but convenient catalog structure (88 collections) and advanced filtering significantly improve the user experience and contribute to increased conversion.
