Project Tasks and Challenges
Preparation of the product's output photo (complex composition of white objects on a heterogeneous light background) for use on marketplaces, in catalogs, and premium advertising.
Main challenge: Working in High-Key style (white on white). It was necessary to isolate the objects so that they did not "dissolve" in space, maintaining clear boundaries, realistic texture, and volume.
Completed Work (Retouching Stages)
• Jewelry Cutout (Isolation): Creation of a perfectly precise, smooth contour of the objects (Pen Tool). The complex textured edges of the bubble block and delicate petals of the live orchid were separated without "ragged" pixels or dirty white halos.
• Deep Cleaning (Hi-End Retouch): Using frequency separation, dust, micro-scratches, technological seams on plastic blocks, and defects on the flower petals were removed. The natural texture of the materials was fully preserved.
• Light and Shadow Drawing (Dodge & Burn): Contrast and volume were locally enhanced. Delicate shadows were painted on the bubble surface of the vertical block, highlighting its unique geometry.
• Color Work (Color Match): White balance was brought to a clean, neutral tone. Dirty gray and yellowish reflections around the objects, typical of amateur shooting, were eliminated.
• Shadow Construction: A soft, diffuse drop shadow (Contact & Drop Shadow) was created, taking into account the physics of light, realistically grounding the objects on the plane and adding depth to the composition.
Result
The visual content was transformed from the "amateur shot" category to the "premium commercial product" category. The image is fully ready for integration into any design layout or product card.
• Format: High-quality PNG (clean transparent background) + JPG on #FFFFFF background.
• Resolution: 2000 × 2000 pixels (square for modern e-commerce platform standards).
