Description of product/service categories:
At this stage, there are two stores with a wide range of turkey and chicken products. This includes all types of cuts, minced meat, and raw sausages made from this meat. There will be no expansion of the product range in these stores due to limited space.
New stores may open with the same assortment, or they may include pork and possibly other types of meat - beef, lamb. It all depends on the size of the premises that can be rented/bought in suitable locations in the city. A small space means only turkey and chicken products. A larger space means at least pork will be added, etc.
There is no accompanying assortment (spices, marinades, groceries, etc.) in the existing stores, and there will not be. In future stores with larger areas, it may be possible. But the main focus will definitely be on meat.
Considering this, the name should not emphasize any one type of meat.
Distribution channels and sales geography:
The stores are located in Ukraine, Mykolaiv region, Mykolaiv city. New stores will be opened in the near future in the same city. In the distant future, in other cities of Ukraine starting with Kyiv.
Target audience portrait:
Most customers are women who manage households. The average age is 40-45 years. Overall, since we are leaders in our field, we attract a diverse range of people. If you live in the area where our store is located and want to buy fresh quality meat, you will most often come to us. We serve both public catering establishments and patients in hospitals who need to follow a diet, as well as young mothers with small children. Husbands come with shopping lists, and young married women do too. In general, they are family-oriented people.
Also, since we have the most complete assortment of turkey and chicken, many dog owners come to us. They buy heads, paws, skins, bones, necks, and soup sets. For purebred dogs, we also offer expensive products like stomachs, shanks...
Existing or proposed positioning:
We position ourselves as a store with farm-fresh meat, which is of higher quality than all other mass-market brands like "Nasha Ryaba," "Havrylivski Kurchat," etc. Currently, we are called "Farmers' Store 'Pan Indyk'."
Closest competitors:
1. Retail chain of small outlets "Nasha Ryaba." In some locations, there is also a narrow assortment of turkey.
2. Convenience store chain "Doyarushka." Positioning - a comfortable store with a wide range of food products near home. In Doyarushka, a small showcase presents an assortment of chicken, turkey, pork, beef... A little bit of everything. For example, we could fit one chicken in a showcase of that size. Their stores also have many other products: sausages, dairy, groceries, cereals, juices, spices, baked goods, etc. Recently, they have started to offer a narrow assortment of baked goods made right in the store by the staff. Their store principle is: almost everything, but in small assortments.
3. Convenience store chain "Mida." Similar to Doyarushka. Positioning and perception in the eyes of consumers are the same. But the stores are prettier, and the equipment is more expensive. In many stores, cutting is done right on-site, and customers can see it.
4. Some supermarket chains: Tavria, Novus, Hippo... where fresh meat is sold. ATB is not a competitor in meat.
5. Classic markets - pork, beef. They operate as always in unacceptable sanitary conditions, and without refrigerators. Due to the lack of normal stores with a wide range of quality meat (pork, beef), they have not yet disappeared.
Main competitive advantages of the company:
1. High quality of purchased meat. Careful acceptance of meat based on quality. We do not accept the least fresh meat. We also monitor the expiration dates and freshness of the meat during sales. We do not allow the sale of stale products.
2. We maintain the maximum possible assortment.
3. Processing (cutting, deboning) at the point of sale. Selling practically straight from the knife.
4. We perform cutting of ideal quality. Everything is cleaned of excess skin and fat. All cartilage is removed. Minced meat is free of any cartilage and veins. Each piece of meat is practically a work of art.
5. High aesthetics and perfectionism in the display process. The showcase looks simply stunning, with mounds everywhere, no empty spaces, everything like at a festive table.
6. Polite service - we only hire positive and optimistic people by nature.
7. Availability of a bank terminal, computer terminal, and customer monitor. If the store is located in the market, we have many market noname competitors who are of higher quality than the aforementioned Doyarushka chain. However, none of the competing market points have a bank terminal and customer monitor.
Regarding prices, considering all the above advantages, we set prices slightly higher than in other places. But at the same time, we sell many times more.
Is there a creative concept (what should the name mean)?
There may not be a concept, but directions for thought processes are as follows:
1. It's hard to explain the essence of the approach; it's better to provide examples of names in other businesses:
- Art café "Hat"
- Art café "Tower"
- Coffee shop "Chalk" (very cool interior design)
- Glossy information and entertainment magazine "Zephyr"
- Restaurant "Edison" (interior design with interesting lighting and many original incandescent lamps)
- Electric cars Tesla - quite a good solution for a name
- Coffee shop "Cinnamon"
- Home cooking café "Paprika"
- Italian and Japanese cuisine restaurant "Mafia." Family values. (Mafia is associated with Italy and Japan, as well as with clans of different families). Very cleverly thought out.
From this direction, the following options have already been proposed:
Meat shop "Skovoroda" - this option is currently leading among all others.
Farmers' store "Meat Grinder"
2. Such neologisms as:
Store "Meat Story" - the territory of real meat. A very successful name. It resonates not only with the word "territory" but also with "history," and with "store" which translates to "магазин." Whatever comes to mind.
From this direction, the following options have been proposed:
"Meat Style," but honestly, it's not a great option.
"Meat Market" - sounds interesting, but plays on mass market, while we position ourselves as higher quality.
3. Other names that are very appealing:
Coffee shop "Cup" (which translates to "cup"). Moreover, the word "cup" has been used in the works of famous Ukrainian writers.
Company Oy-li - improving sales departments, training salespeople and department managers. I don't fully grasp the logic of the name, but I really like it and it resonates.

Do not suggest such banal phrases as:
World of meat, Meat world, Butcher's shop, Meat shop, Planet of meat, Fresh meat, Country of meat, Plate of meat, Wonderful meat, Royal meat, Good meat, Empire of meat, Appetizing meat, Select meat, Meat mountain, Host, Wolf's appetite, Meat city, Barbarian, and others...
Better options, but still not it:
Meat fry, Meat lover, Meat gathering, Note of meat, Chef meat, Mammoth, Meat of the peasant, Peasant's dream, Peasant's shop, Peasant's kitchen, etc., Farmer, Leader.
Scythian traditions (not catchy enough, and still a bit banal)
Firebird (not suitable as it focuses only on poultry, and even if it were only poultry - we still wouldn't choose it)
