The price I quoted is $20,000. - arranged, agreed on the following payment procedure: 5000 advance payment, 10 thousand rubles. through a safe on the stock exchange and another 5,000 at the same time as the project is closed for freelancing. The project was supposed to take no more than 2 months. It was required not only to edit the existing text, but also in many places to add the missing meaning.
Everyone who has ever worked with books knows how important the close interaction between the author and the editor is, because the quality of the final text ultimately depends on it. The first couple of weeks this interaction was active, and then it simply came to naught. I send edited chapters - silence in response. No time to read. The book was completed and edited within two months.And then something incomprehensible began.My questions about when the text will be read and the project will be accepted on the exchange were either ignored or I received a formal answer about the customer’s emergency employment.Then with separate chapters began to come answers from the author with his additional corrections and additions.And this form of communication lasted another 4 months!There were strange claims that it was not so or not in that place written, but the editor is not a telepat, it is impossible to read the thoughts of the author and write in accuracy as he would do.The author decided to connect his wife so that she also commented on the directions.As a result, all the instructions I submitted on the basis of her comments were rejected as inappropriate.Time is lost, repairs are made again.Again, ignorance from the customer.Permanent answers: "I work for 13 hours", "I am on a trip", "Today I have a break" etc.and d.He read the book until the end, I put the last lines, and again the question arose, when will the project be closed?It lasted for six months at that time.The book is re-worked, and the book is re-readed to his wife.It is also extremely busy, that in a month it has never lost 100 pages.Finally, in the seventh month on the stock market the project was finally closed.But the fourth part of the amount is 5,000 UAH.I was never paid.The word of a businessman, the owner of the pharmacy network, the shareholder, as it turned out, is nothing worth it.This money is more likely to need his family.Let my experience of cooperation with Olga Poltavcev for other freelancers serve as a warning.Fortunately, adequate, honest customers are still much more.
