My experience working with this team of freelancers has been very disappointing, and I want to share my feedback to warn others about potential issues.

Firstly, the team did not deliver what was requested. My clear and consistent requirement was to redesign my existing website while maintaining its current structure, SEO, and content. However, instead of a redesign, they created an entirely new website that I did not ask for. Although the freelancers presented themselves as experienced developers, their expertise did not align with my requests and requirements. They did not adapt to the task that was set.

The project manager played a key role in these problems. Instead of listening to my requirements or trying to understand my point of view, he focused on convincing me that their approach—creating a new website—was "better." This completely ignored my technical specifications, and as a result, I received a product that did not meet my expectations.

When I realized that my project was not going in the right direction, I requested that the new website they created be transferred to another domain. This was the only compromise solution to avoid losing all the money and time spent. Thus, I now have a new website that I actually do not need, but at least it was saved and can be used in the future.

It is also important to note that the platform on which the collaboration took place effectively supports the freelancers' side. This is because the platform receives a commission for each project, and it is in their interest for the deal to be closed, even if the client remains dissatisfied. As a result, the client has very few options: either accept what is there or lose money and time trying to prove their point. This puts the client in an extremely disadvantageous position.

If you decide to collaborate with this team, I strongly recommend being extremely cautious. Make sure that every detail is outlined in the technical specifications, as they are likely to adhere only to what is explicitly stated and ignore everything else. If there is even the slightest ambiguity, you may find yourself in a situation like mine, receiving a result that does not meet your expectations at all.

In summary, my experience has been very disappointing. I expected a professional team that would listen to my needs and provide a tailored solution, but instead, I received a rigid "one size fits all" approach that did not meet my requirements at all. Additionally, I felt that the platform supports the freelancer more than the client, which creates additional risks. Now I have a new website that I did not ask for, but at least it was better than getting nothing at all. For me, this has been a valuable experience, albeit a hard lesson. I recommend being as cautious as possible and establishing a clear contract before starting work with this team.
