Yevhen Protsyk

Hello people, I am Yevhen, an amateur translator who wants to start a professional career, as a freelancer for now.

Mine alma mater is Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where I studied and successfully completed my studies at the Faculty of International Relations, with a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Regional Services, and then completed a fully English-language master's degree in Baltic-Black Sea Regional Relations. During my studies and after, for about a year, I worked as an English teacher on the JustSchool platform.

I loved volunteer freelancing. I translated games and mods from English into Ukrainian. I would confidently name my favorite project the localization of mods for the Ukrainian Minecraft server Minestar, where I was the leader of a small group of people. Together, we translated modifications, and in addition to this, I proofread the work of other group members. I remember this project with warmth in my heart. It was fulfilling and multifaceted. Most of the mods had their own little story, and the main administrator and I never forgot to leave our pun mark on the localization.
