Developed a landing page for a notary in the United Kingdom with a conversion rate of 15%

    Website Development
The client provides notary services to Ukrainians in Great Britain and came to me with a request to develop a landing page because he needed to attract more clients. Previously, he worked as a specialist in another local office.

In this project, I participated as a marketer, meaning my tasks were:

    1. Understand the pains and needs of the target audience.
    2. Formulate key messages that will address the needs and pains of the target audience, as well as counter objections.
    3. Clearly convey the formulated messages to the target audience through text and the correct sequence of blocks on the landing page.
    4. Formulate a unique selling proposition (USP), which was already there, just needed to be extracted from the client.
    5. Create a strong offer (I tested 2 different ones and one of them worked well).
    6. Think through conversion elements on the site so that the target audience had no chance of not leaving a request in a convenient way, especially on mobile devices.
    7. Formulate a technical specification for the designer and developer.
    8. Monitor that the designer and developer did everything according to the technical specification and correctly.

The total project budget with all expenses for all specialists amounted to: $2000

    RESULT:

    1. Immediately set up advertising on Google and Meta Ads, developed various creatives, tested, and selected the best ones.
    2. Initially decided to track only requests through forms, and set up call tracking if there were calls, while messages in messengers could not be tracked. It turned out that calls and messages in messengers occurred three times more often than filling out the standard request form. As a result:

    - On average, 40 requests per month from the form with an average cost of £25-30 per lead (see screenshots in neighboring cases in the portfolio).
    - Quality leads from those 40 were approximately 30 per month.
    - Calls and messages in messengers were not counted, and there were many more than sent forms; how many exactly is still unclear because the client does not have time to fill out the table due to being overwhelmed with orders.

Overall, the client is satisfied with the result but is heavily overloaded with orders, which I consider my success at this stage.

Next, when the client delegates lead processing, we plan to:

    1. Set up call tracking, gather statistics on messages from messengers, and create comprehensive analytics to understand which campaigns are the most effective and scale this experience, while turning off ineffective ones and not wasting money on them.
    2. In addition to Great Britain, scale campaigns to EU countries, adapting the website for each country.
    3. Develop a content strategy and connect SMM promotion.
  • Achieved an unrealistically low cost per order with Meta Ads

    Social Media Marketing (SMM)
    Project Information:

    Niche: textiles (online store, e-commerce)

    Situation:

    - main sales channel - advertising with Google Ads
    - the client already had a website and set up Google ads that worked very well, but the client wanted to scale and connect targeted advertising on Facebook/Instagram.
    - average check 1500-2000 UAH

    Client's request:

    - Increase the number of textile sales through targeted advertising (scale up)
    - ensure that the cost of one customer who purchases through the cart does not exceed $10

    What have we achieved?

    - spent about $10,000 budget
    - average customer cost: $6-7
    - some advertising campaigns brought customers for $3.5, which is practically nothing given such margins, and as can be seen in the screenshot, there were the most of such customers

Why were we able to achieve the client's goal much easier than usual?

    - our client turned out to be very knowledgeable and experienced in their business, they knew what offer to bring to the market to perfectly meet the needs of their target audience. They thoroughly analyzed the market, competitors, created great landing pages and a website

    - we took all this information and created a bomb. It wouldn't be accurate to say that everything was easy and perfect, because at the beginning a lot of work had to be done, many advertising campaigns had to be set up, a bunch of creatives had to be tested, but after 3 months we reached a stable result.

    - usually, we try to take on part of this work for the owner or explain what needs to be improved to achieve results from advertising.

If you have an e-commerce project, write to me and I will consult you, suggest what should be done to achieve good results as well.
  • Design of Instagram profile "Cupcakes with CBD"

    Social Media Page Design
The project was worked on by:

    - Project Manager / Marketer: Oleksandr Shevchenko (Me)
    - Designer: Yuliia Berezovska

    Client's wishes:

    - develop a design concept for Instagram
    - make it not just beautiful, but also convert advertising traffic into buyers
    - it should be in a minimalist style and must include green color in the concept

What I did as a manager / marketer:

    1. Conducted an analysis of the target audience to choose the most interesting segment for this business and create a design for it.
    2. Analyzed competitors to see how they operate and their interesting design features.
    3. During the target audience analysis, I identified and noted the most common objections from the target audience.
    4. Developed a content plan for 9 posts and thought out which stories would be pinned.
    5. The content was developed based on objections, for example, in this topic there are objections like "Does CBD really work?", "Is this legal?". So, it is necessary to respond to these popular customer objections with content, as they will not ask you, they will just leave the page.
    6. Created a very detailed technical task for the designer, ensuring minimal revisions, which allowed to reduce execution time and improve work quality.
    7. Managed the process, ensuring that the design adhered to the concept and everything was done according to the technical task.
    8. Completed: logo, 9 posts, 5 pinned highlights, templates for infographics, 4 templates for reels - all in a unified style.

What I did as a bonus for the client:

    1. Posted all the finished content on Instagram
    2. Wrote texts for each post
    3. Based on the previous target audience analysis, wrote the unique selling proposition in the Instagram description (BIO)
    4. Recorded a video instruction on how to create content based on the created templates and how to manage Instagram further
    5. Developed a promotion plan considering the client's budget.

Nuances that Yuliia considered in the design:

    1. Chose colors to create a positive, summer vibe that correlates with the product being sold on the page.
    2. Selected one additional main color and one accent color to create beautiful highlights.
    3. Chose minimalist fonts.
    4. Made the design beautiful yet light, so the client could create other posts using these templates.
    5. Transferred the work from Photoshop to Figma and Canva, so the client could easily delegate to their SMM specialist who does not know how to work in Photoshop.
  • Increased the number of orders from Google ads by 4 times

    Contextual Advertising
    Project Information:

    Niche: small mirror manufacturing

    Situation:

    - main sales channel - advertising with Google Ads
    - the client already had a website and set up advertising that brought about 40-50 applications per month
    - average check 6000-7000 UAH, in some months higher due to wholesale orders for hotels and other establishments (b2b) which occurred approximately once every 2-3 months.
    - the cost of an application was: on average 350-400 UAH.

    Client's request:

Increase the number of applications from Google advertising and reduce their cost if possible

    What did we achieve?

    1. The screenshot shows 2 simultaneously working accounts, one old, which was before us (below) and a new account (above)
    2. For the new account, we created a different version of the website with edits
    3. Selected period - 1 month
    4. The screenshot shows the result:
    - the number of applications increased from 43 to 162
    - the cost per conversion was 360 UAH and became 169

    What exactly did we do:

    1. Initially, we worked with what we had, the existing website and advertising campaign, but honestly, during the first month of work, we did not achieve results even though we made many changes to the search advertising campaign, created higher quality ads, made new search campaigns and remarketing, added more keywords and negative keywords, tested automatic campaigns - the result either remained approximately the same or in some cases was even worse.

    2. After that, we concluded that more global changes were needed and conducted a deeper analysis of competitors who appear alongside us in Google advertising, to understand what makes us better and to emphasize this in advertising campaigns.

    3. After that, we created a different version of the website together with the client where:
    - we made a more attractive headline on the first screen (previously the headline was simply "Led mirrors from the manufacturer")
    - on the first and last screens, we created a conversion form for measurements, making it as simple and understandable as possible, adding a calculator for cost estimation. (previously, purchases could only be made through the cart, which was much longer and more complicated)
    - the phone and contacts were placed in the most visible spot, because many clients in this niche prefer to call before ordering by filling out a form on the website. (previously the phone was somewhere on another page and at the bottom, where not everyone reached)
    - we removed all unnecessary distractions that divert the website visitor from the desired action - leaving an application or making a call.

    4. We set up proper analytics so that all applications through the form and calls were tracked correctly and we knew exactly how many conversions came from advertising.

    5. We launched new campaigns for the new website and already in the 2nd month after minor optimization, we achieved the client's goals and obtained results. (see the screenshot)

    Conclusions:

Once again, I come to the main conclusion in practice that the most important thing is - a competitive product and how it is presented to customers from a marketing perspective, how conversion-friendly your website or any other order reception platform is, and only in the last place - a well-set advertising campaign, because it can be of high quality a hundred times but without a foundation, it simply will not work, there will be many clicks and expenses but orders will either not exist or will be few.

Therefore, the business owner or their marketer must definitely understand such things as:

    1. Strategic marketing (market analysis, target audience, competitors) and do this in-depth and for as long as necessary, not just for a couple of hours
    2. What marketing funnels are and which will work specifically in your niche
    3. How to make your website or another landing page (for example, Instagram) more quality and conversion-friendly, so that more people leave applications with you rather than with competitors
    4. Quality copywriting, so that your headlines and texts hit the very heart of the client, addressing their needs and pains.

That is, more marketing and only then promotion using various advertising tools. Without marketing, you will either have no results at all or they will be much less than they could be.
  • Design an Instagram page for a fitness clothing store

    Social Media Marketing (SMM)
This design is not done by me, but by a specialist from my team.

The design is based on a previous marketing analysis, so that the target audience, when landing on the page, feels that they have come to the right place, so that everything is visually comfortable - this leads to higher conversion rates for subscriptions and orders.

What is taken into account when creating the design of an Instagram page:

    1. Fonts in posts and in video subtitles
    2. Colors, so that everything is in a consistent style and looks beautiful
    3. Ensuring that the logo, pinned stories, and posts are also in a consistent style, so that the account looks professional and attractive.
  • Content plan based on marketing analysis

    Social Media Marketing (SMM)
To view the entire document and interact with the functionality, follow the link on the right under "details".

The client has decided to promote through organic traffic on social networks by posting educational and useful videos, and making sales posts every other day. A funnel was previously worked out through which clients passed and placed orders after interacting with the content. The content plan was made taking into account previous comprehensive marketing analysis.

    The document consists of:

    - a list of content ideas
    - a list of posts
    - an interactive calendar showing when each post or video is scheduled
    - each post is marked for convenience (post type, post format, where it is posted, status, date, a checkbox indicating whether it is published or not)

You can follow the link to the program and try it out yourself to understand how it works and if it is convenient for you.

The client did not allow sharing the link to his program, so I created a copy and filled in one month for demonstration.

I will create a program for you to make it convenient for you to use the content plan or add your employees to it.
  • Competitive analysis for a men's jewelry store

    Marketing Research
Here are the competitive analyses I do, pay attention that at first glance it is clear how our competitors are better or worse and most importantly by how much better or worse, this way we understand our strengths and weaknesses and can make a USP based on data, rather than sitting and inventing it endlessly.

A lot of work was done here, where I immersed myself in the product and marketing of the business to the maximum. After this work, the client said that they know about their target audience even more than necessary. The only things not done were competitive analysis and finding the blue ocean for the product. The work was done in 2019, so it is in Russian.

    What was done:

    - Target audience analysis broken down into blocks: demographics, situations in which they buy, motivation for purchase, fears, desires, target audience pain points.
    - A bunch of non-obvious objections were found (29 in total) and a plan on how to address them with content was developed.
    - Product line was worked on (lead magnet options, main offer, premium offer, upsell or cross-sell).
    - Comprehensive offer developed to address customer concerns/questions that may arise before, during, and after the purchase of the product. The target audience sees that they are being taken care of.
    - Partial development of a "sense map" that the client later conveyed to the target audience in content on social media and the website.
    - Only after all this was a content strategy developed, knowing exactly what to talk about and show to resonate with the audience, resulting in more conversions, orders, and active subscriptions. As a bonus, I visually demonstrated to the client how to create more enticing headlines.

You can only do a part of this, or you can do much more research if you wish.
  • Analysis of one of the segments of the target audience for a recruiting agency

    Marketing Research
To see the entire document, go inside the case and click on the link on the right, at the top under "Details".

I analyzed and neatly formatted it in Notion. I took the initial information from the client and then delved into the internet in search of places where the audience discusses their problems + conducted a survey of several representatives of the target audience. As a result, the client has a clear understanding of all the main problems, pains, and fears of their TA, which they used in the content on TikTok and Reels.
