Research of the natural cosmetics market in Latvia
Marketing ResearchConducted an in-depth market research of natural cosmetics in Latvia focusing on launching a new brand.
Task: identify real entry opportunities: not just describe competitors, but understand the market as a system.
Within the scope of the project:
… 1. Collected key market data: volume, dynamics, consumer behavior, queries from generations Z and Y, expectations regarding eco-formats, transparency, dermocosmetics.
2. Conducted a structured analysis of 6 brands focusing on their business model, communication, audiences, product range, and market share.
3. Built a SWOT matrix of the category and identified strategic gaps.
4. Formulated requirements for positioning the new player: price segment, communication strategy, unique selling proposition (USP), launch format (D2C, e-commerce, pharmacy networks).
5. Calculated market potential: TAM, SAM, SOM including a justified forecast of the share the new brand can occupy within 2–3 years.
Result: not just analytics, but a basis for strategic decision-making: where, how, and with what to enter the market.

Creating the Sparkolio brand: strategy, positioning, promotion
Public Relations (PR)(my own project, which marked the beginning of my practice working with small businesses)
Task: create my own consulting brand for small business — without pomp, but with clear value: “simplicity of solutions + strategic depth”.
… What has been done:
— came up with a name that combines energy and logic
— developed branding: tone of voice, visual style, page structure
— formulated positioning: “for small businesses that want systems without unnecessary complexity”
— created a range of services: mini-audits, consultations, strategic sessions
— developed and launched templates (marketing calendar, price calculator, order tracker)
— set up Instagram, Etsy shop, Pinterest Ads
Result:
Sparkolio operates as a separate system, generates sales without external agencies, and allows me to work directly with clients. The brand already has case studies, customer retention, and is developing as a platform for small business.

Task: manual order management in a notebook or notes often leads to confusion, loss of clients, and mistakes. Especially in businesses with a large number of small orders (Etsy, Instagram, Telegram sales).
Solution:
I created the Client Tracker Pro system — an automated file in Google Sheets that allows:
— to keep track of orders and clients in one place
— to see sales amounts, average check, % returns, order sources
— to filter orders by status: new / paid / shipped / completed
— to quickly search for data by client or product
— to add notes to each order (features, repeat purchases, etc.)
Result: users stopped keeping everything “in their heads” or scattered across chats. The tracker provided peace, order, and the ability to analyze how the business is doing.

Task: Most business owners set prices intuitively: “to not scare the customer,” “like the competitors,” or “to earn something at least.” This leads to chaotic results, low margins, and a constant feeling that “there is never enough money.”
Solution:
I created a calculator that helps:
— compare several pricing strategies (wholesale, retail, “psychological price,” commission model, etc.)
— calculate actual profit after expenses, commissions, and time spent
— see how price changes affect overall profit at different sales volumes
— test scenarios: what will happen if there is a discount / advertising / increase in costs
Result: Users began to confidently set prices, not “from their head,” but with an understanding of profit logic. Many discovered they were operating “at a loss” and changed their business model.
