A 3D model of a decorative Easter cake needs to be created for the subsequent production of a silicone mold and casting of products from gypsum and wax.
The main purpose is to create a gypsum planter with a lid. Additionally, this same model should be suitable for making a candle (gypsum / wax), so it is important to consider the specifics of modeling.
The performer must understand the nuances of creating models for molds:
avoid unnecessary gaps, cavities, and undercuts
avoid areas where silicone may leak
consider the extraction of the product from the mold
do not use overly thin or fragile elements
ensure the integrity of the geometry of the decor
General Idea of the Product
The product is a planter in the shape of an Easter cake with icing and a removable lid.
The basic design of the cake is one, but several options for the lid with different decor are provided.
Basic shape:
cylindrical cake
voluminous icing with drips
the top of the icing is slightly convex (not flat)
light "baking" texture on the surface
provide for the fitting of the lid (seam, technical edge)
