3D modeling of shoe sole (Cup Sole) for mold (DWG/STP)
Who we are:
Brand of anatomical footwear (barefoot) BOSI. We are scaling production and transitioning from manual stretching of sheet rubber to industrial sole casting.
Task:
Develop a design, precise 3D model of a "cup sole" (cup sole with a rim) based on our physical samples and shoe last parameters. The model will be used for manufacturing a steel mold (CNC milling).
Technical requirements:
Sole type: Cup sole (high rim that goes over the toe and heel).
Base: The geometry must clearly match the footprint of our last (we will provide measurements: length, width, contour). The reference size is 41.
Parameters: Thickness of the tread part — 4 mm (and 6 mm, two options of one design), height of the rims — approximately 15-20 mm.
Texture: The rims and tread part must have a "crepe rubber" texture (natural crepe) (texture in the reference).
Manufacturability: The model must be designed considering draft angles, so the part can be easily removed from the mold after rubber vulcanization.
What you will receive for work:
Photos and videos of the current design (handmade), which needs to be digitized.
Exact measurements of the last's footprint and key height points.
Examples of similar solutions from global brands (Vivobarefoot, Mukishoes).
Result:
File in .dwg and .stp (or .step) formats, fully ready for transfer to the factory engineers.
Criteria for successful result:
Full compliance with the contour of the last.
Absence of errors in geometry that would hinder mold manufacturing.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the footwear industry or industrial design of plastic/rubber products.

вітаю.. присутні сумніви у можливості відтворення текстури ЧПК фрезеруванням... для створення текстури потрібно знати виробничі можливості верстатного парку та оснастки
текстуру простіше виконати іншим способом.. не фрезеруванням
