I see a serious list of competitors. I think most marketers will just scroll through their Instagram and take screenshots.
I work differently — I use an AI stack (Perplexity + NotebookLM) for in-depth data analysis.

My approach (Reverse Engineering):

1. Data Collection (Perplexity): I don't just look at posts. I search for any digital footprint of competitors: reviews on third-party resources, mentions on forums, hidden advertising offers. I find what they are trying to hide.

2. Insight Synthesis (NotebookLM): I upload data arrays into the neural network to extract:
- "Red Flags" (Deal Breakers): What customers really complain about (delivery, grind, service), even though everything looks nice on Instagram.
- "Hidden Delights" (Delighters): Little things that make customers come back.
- Job-to-be-Done: What real task the customer is solving by buying from them (it's not just "having a coffee").

Funnels: I will analyze their scripts and lead magnets to show you the "gaps" in their sales that you can exploit.

Result: Not just a "table of competitors," but a strategic report with ready-made hypotheses for implementation, built on the analysis of hundreds of data points, not on intuition.

Yes, this is an unconventional way to perform the task, but incredibly effective; hardly anyone will manually sift through 200+ sources for each of the companies and then analyze all this information.
