2D Animator for historical video
Hello!
I am looking for a 2D animator to create an animated historical video in the style of the YouTuber "Oversimplified". All designs (backgrounds, characters, maps, and other items) and corresponding voiceover will be provided to you.
I need an animator who is proficient in English. The video and script are in English.
The project will consist of 3 parts/scenes and will last about 8 minutes in total (a little less).
You can find the video script with detailed requirements and some real examples of videos attached to this job posting.
Here are a few points that are extremely important to me for the video overall:
- most background scenes should have some minor animated details, mainly like a few birds flying in the sky or clouds slowly moving to make the scenes more lively (described in the script in each scene where necessary)
- in the character dialogues, the characters should move more (they have 2 arms) and constantly move their bodies/heads and arms to emphasize what they are saying
- Camera movements should be frequent and engaging (i.e., the camera is not actually stationary).
Specific examples of these things can be found in the attached script file.
Changes that are not explicitly stated in the script may be needed when you animate different scenes if necessary, as it can sometimes be quite challenging to accurately write in the script how you envision the final video.

I estimate the cost of one minute of animation in the style of the Oversimplified channel to be in the range of $30-50, depending on the dynamics of the video and the number of special effects. The aspects you mentioned (background animation, character lip-syncing) are all part of the basic animation; I will do it as in the example and even better.
