Audit of PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals (LaserVille)
Project: Audit of technical performance indicators of the website that affect Google PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals
Website: https://laserville.com/
1) Purpose of the work
A detailed technical audit of the website is needed, focusing on metrics that affect loading speed and ratings in Google PageSpeed Insights / Core Web Vitals (for mobile and desktop versions).
The result should be a clear report that provides a complete picture of weaknesses and allows us to hire a specialized expert for implementing recommendations in the next stage.
2) Scope of work (first stage — audit only)
The contractor must:
Conduct measurements and analysis of PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals (mandatory Mobile + Desktop).
Identify which metrics are “lagging”, what exactly is the cause, and which changes will have the greatest effect.
Analyze critical factors that usually affect CWV, including (but not limited to):
LCP / INP / CLS and reasons for poor values
rendering: blocking resources, critical CSS, loading order
JavaScript: heavy scripts, third-party services, deferred/conditional loading
images: format/size, lazy-load, responsive images, compression, preloading key
fonts: loading, preconnect/preload, FOIT/FOUT
caching: browser cache, CDN, server headers, static files
server/TTFB: impact of backend, hosting, caches, databases (if applicable)
third-party pixels/widgets/analytics: their contribution to metric degradation
DOM optimization, critical elements above the fold, layout shifts
Important: this is not a “list of generated recommendations,” but rather engineering analysis with reasons and priorities.
3) Report format (mandatory)
A report (Google Docs / Notion / PDF) is needed with the structure:
3.1. Brief summary (1 page):
Current state Mobile / Desktop
5–10 key issues that most significantly impact metrics
Estimated order of work (by priority)
3.2. Detailed table of issues / recommendations:
For each item, specify:
Issue / what exactly is wrong
Where it manifests (which pages/types of pages, if important)
Cause (in technical language, but understandable)
Which metrics it degrades (LCP/INP/CLS, PSI performance, etc.)
Recommendation (specific actions)
Priority (high/medium/low)
Implementation complexity: easy / medium / hard
Expected effect (which metrics should improve and “how noticeable” — at least qualitatively)
4) Quality requirements
The analysis must be as detailed and practical as possible, without general phrases.
Recommendations must be formulated so that they can be handed over to another specialist for implementation.
If part of the issues depends on the website technologies (CMS/theme/builder/plugins/server) — this must be clearly reflected in the conclusions.
5) What to provide in response when applying (from the candidate)
To quickly assess competence, we ask you to write in your response:
Examples of similar audits (links or screenshots/fragments of reports without confidential data)
What tools you use (PSI, Lighthouse, WebPageTest, DevTools Performance, etc.)
Estimated approach: how you prioritize and determine the “root cause”
6) Result we expect
In the end, we want to receive a complete list of technical problems and growth points, understanding:
what exactly prevents the website from having better PageSpeed / CWV scores;
what work is needed (and their complexity);
what resources/qualifications are needed for implementation in the next stage.

1075 6 0 Hello!
My approach to auditing:
For analysis, I use a combination of professional tools:
- Chrome DevTools (Performance & Network tabs): for step-by-step breakdown of rendering and finding "heavy" scripts.
- WebPageTest: for in-depth analysis of Waterfall diagrams and TTFB from different locations.
- PageSpeed Insights (PSI) & Lighthouse: for obtaining synthetic data and field metrics (CrUX).
- Screaming Frog: for identifying mass issues with image sizes or redirect chains.
… I work backwards: first, I identify metric drops (for example, high LCP), and then using Waterfall analysis and traces in DevTools, I find what is causing the slowdown, whether it is a slow server response, a blocking JS file, or a lack of prioritization in loading the main banner.
The structure of the report you will receive:
- Summary for management: where we are now and what is the most urgent issue.
- Technical matrix: a table where each problem is broken down by parameters: Cause -> Impact on CWV -> Specific action for the programmer -> Priority.
What I will pay special attention to for Laserville:
- LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): analysis of loading main media files and the impact of third-party widgets (chats, recordings).
- CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): searching for elements that "jump" during loading (fonts, banners).
- INP (Interaction to Next Paint): analysis of the "heaviness" of JS code that may block user interaction with the site.
I am ready to start detailed analysis today. In the end, you will have a foundation to make your site one of the fastest in the niche.
When would it be convenient for you to discuss the details and provide the necessary access (if needed for deeper analysis)?

1973 17 0 1 Hello! I have carefully reviewed the technical specifications. I understand that you need not just a list of errors from PageSpeed, but a deep engineering analysis of the causes (Root Cause Analysis) to pass on to the developers.
My approach and tools:
Tools: I use Chrome DevTools (Performance tab for analyzing the Main Thread), WebPageTest (for analyzing the Waterfall and blocking resources), Lighthouse Treemap (for analyzing JS bundles).
Methodology:
I look for bottlenecks in the Critical Rendering Path (what is blocking LCP).
I analyze the impact of third-party scripts on TBT and INP.
I check the effectiveness of caching and the strategy for loading fonts/images.
Result: I will prepare a report in Google Docs/PDF clearly following your structure: 1 page summary + detailed technical table (Problem -> Cause -> Solution -> Priority -> Complexity).
…
I can send examples of reports in private (or I can attach them to the bid).
I am ready to start the analysis.
